I've read only two excerpts but am really enjoying your writing. I am wondering if you have read Ursula K Le Guin's the Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction. I feel like your work is in line with her ways of thinking about narrative. Thanks for sharing your work here.

Oh thank you so much, this is a lovely comment. It is my pleasure to share my work here, especially when I receive notes from people like you!

I absolutely love Ursula K Le Guin. She is a constant source of inspiration, of provocation too, at times. Her work is a true gift for the writer, something I remember realising a long, long time ago, and following along ever since. I had read her Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction some years ago, and reread it just now, having seen your comment; it's a powerful argument now, as much (or more?) than when she first had it published (I always liked the archaeology references, having studied the subject at university).

I shared a little about my feelings for her work here: alexandermcrow.substack.com/p/on-books when I listed a few books which mean Something to me, so to have you say my work is in line with her ways of thinking about narrative is wise and makes me very happy. I can think of no one whose theories and methods I'd rather be associated with.

Thanks again for your comment, I hope you keep enjoying my writing!
