I am really appreciating these weekly recaps - even when I manage to dip into Substack, the Notes chronology seems a little erratic to me (but perhaps I need to hang about a little longer and adjust to the quirks and whatnots); but given Life Is Happening at such a speed right now, being able to catch up with these daily posts with a cup of tea (often at Ungodly O'Clock in the morning) and know I haven't missed any is a grand thing!

Nope - erratic is definitely the word! I've had a few other people mention this too, how the posts aren't always visible and certainly not in chronological order. Perhaps it would have been better to wait until next year for this, once the quirks are ironed out! Still, at least these recaps help!

I have been thinking about this, and given the exponential growth of Substack at present, I think you were right not to wait - there may be glitches and it may not be perfect, but another year will present an entirely different landscape, I'm sure. Boats may be missed. I'm also a firm supporter of Doing The Things when it feels right to do them - and, often, waiting for the perfect conditions just means things never get done!

I agree! The series isn't going anywhere, what with the Fall in Time section and the archived Notes within each catch-up post. And it might well be very useful for the ideas I'm considering re: next steps.

Besides, if I have my way, and all goes even nearly according to plan, I doubt I'll have any time to share it as I am now, next year.
