Great article about travel inspiration, both near and far.

I think sometimes we get caught up in looking at the places that tick boxes and tend to skim over what is right in front of us.

I like how you mentioned the power of observation. People watching and conversation can tell you so much about a place. In this world of instant connectivity and gratification through social media, we have forgotten what it is like to simply exist in a place, if only for a moment. Be present, be silent. Watch, smell, feel, hear. Give in to your senses and discover a renewed vision of the world.

Loved it. It's odd how some work just doesn't land in certain places then catches in others. We are spending time going to places in Brittany this year -- we moved here in lockdown and home is still so new and uncharted -- so this really rang bells.
