Thank you so much! I used to say that anyone could do it, but over the years I've realised this isn't always true. There are so many factors which mean it isnt always possible but even for those who seem to have the outdoor skills etc necessary, to be alone for a long period of time can be tough. I think I was so immersed in nature, and in figuring out where I was in life and where I wanted to go, that the loneliness never really kicked in!
