For some, being tucked up safely locked behind a door is safety, it represents somewhere to call home, the very place where home begins and the outdoors ends.

For others, a door is a barrier which stops them from attaining the level of freedom they seek. Obviously, for prisoners, this is real barrier, for many others, however, the door is a metaphorical block, or perhaps serves to hold the individual within a prison of their own making.
