This is the first time I have been to this place, in this time. April is not a month I usually associate with warm, Mediterranean beach getaways. Stray visitors to some parts of northern Scotland can be pleasantly surprised in April, however, if they can escape any wind, but I did not know what to expect of this corner of France at this time.
